Theatrical piece conceived in 2016 thanks to the Creation Scholarship at the Teatro Estudio Julio Mario Santo Domingo. Its point of departure was a play created by Javier Gámez combining varied motifs: the biblical myth of Christmas, the crime fiction, the social context of La Guajira region and traditional vallenato music.

In a northern place of La Guajira region, a family (father, mother and newborn daughter) hopes to receive an essential gift from the hand of three wise men from southern, eastern and western Colombia, who are guided by a radiant star. But one good night the star disappears. It will be a couple of small-town detectives who will assume the case and give themselves up to the task of discovering who stole it. And not only that: they will have to let everyone know what is The Secret of the Star.

The piece comes to life thanks to three actors, two puppeteers, an accordion player and a technician.
