THE GOLDEN COCKEREL
The Golden Cockerel is a winning work of the 'Rayuela' Fellowship 2015 granted by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, to which puppeteers, actors, musicians and creators of various disciplines have been linked. The starting point of the piece is a dramatic text created by Javier Gámez from the homonymous tale of Mexican writer Juan Rulfo.
The montage is framed in the social context of the Colombian vallenato tradition and combines puppets, actors and live music.
