FROM TO EARTH TO THE MOON
Free adaptation of the homonymous novel by Jules Verne for the puppet theater.
FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON, The Space Race in Colombia. The first attempt to reach the confines of space begins here, in this country, specifically in the city of Bogotá, when a group of visionary men forget the war and decide to use their knowledge in ballistics to promote a projectile that makes contact with our natural satellite: The Moon. The story takes place in Colombia in the mid-nineteenth century, after the civil wars between centralists and federalists. The president of Club del Cañón (Gun Club), the popular Tito Tulio Tangarife, a gentleman of advanced ideas, is the one who directs this audacious and brilliant scientific enterprise, fusing together with the members of the Club a colossal canyon in La Guajira region.
