Souvenir Asiático is the fifth stage production of the theatre company Los Animistas (The Animists), specialized in theatre of animation with puppets, objects and its relationship with theatre actors. Winner of the Colombian Dramaturgies Mise-en-scène Fellowship 2017 granted by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia.

We have come into contact, in this staging, with a touching and current theme (migration, the border and the tragedies that accompany it) through an efficient scenic exploration vehicle of extensive resources. This borderline-liminal piece, uses a kind of barge boat occupied by the spectators, whom observes around the incidences of the work, limited by three containers of different sizes and other alternate spaces, as well as a 4.1 sound environment that enriches the effect of transit. The audience observes from there six fragmented situations of beings that are wavering between marginality and uncertainty.
